About Rhythm of the Heart

We had so much fun coming together in Loves Park, IL. in July 2025 for our 3rd annual Rhythm of the Heart Music Festival. The third annual Rhythm of the Heart Music Festival will be on July 25th, 2026! Be sure to add the date to your calendars now! The event is a FREE, all-day festival featuring live music, a car show, food trucks, vendor tents, a kids’ activity area and FIREWORKS!

That 70's Band is based out of Rockford, IL and is Northern IL and Southern WI's premier 70's band. We are the proud winner of RAMI's 2025 Best Tribute Band.

For over three decades, That Little Ol’ Band from Chicago, Eliminator, has electrified audiences with a coast-to-coast celebration of ZZ Top’s iconic sound and style. Since 1992, this Chicago-based ensemble has masterfully recreated the full ZZ Top concert experience, delivering high-energy performances that capture the raw, bluesy essence of the Texas trio.

BiG SUiT is a collective of nine musicians drawn to the cerebral adventures, infectious rhythms, and pioneering music known to the world as Talking Heads. BiG SUiT began when a Chicago-area producer reached out to Deacon Blues founder Steve Kikoen with a request to form a Tribute to Talking Heads.

Car Show – 1:00-5:00 PM

The Gentlemen Car Club originated in 1959 in Loves Park, Illinois. In June of 1960, it was written, “They’re hot-rodders, but they’re gentlemen of the roadways.”

K-9 Demonstration at 5PM on the festival grounds! Come out and meet Blitz or Koal!

Fun for Kids –

Kids will have their own area to play in that includes a large blow-up activity center. The kids area will be open from 1-8pm.

Steve Gryb, the “Pied Piper of Percussion“, from Miami, Florida presents- “The Rhythm is Going to Get You!” show, an interactive family friendly music show for the young and young-at-heart!

Steve Gryb will also be presenting- "The Percussion Petting Zoo" activity/attraction. This hands-on attraction will feature over one hundred percussion instruments from around the world that everyone can touch, play, explore, and have fun making sounds.
